I will be in the Adirondacks (Indian Lake) this summer - any recommendations for wineries I should visit?

Love this. Good guy, good addition. What an interesting state.

Agree with Evan - Todd is awesome and rounding out the whole of NY state in terms of wine coverage just feels right for NYCR. Not sure but my guess is that this makes NYCR the first outlet on-or-off-line to really do that?

Thanks for the votes of confidence guys, I will do my best to deserve them.

Uwe, Indian Lake is beautiful, but a little deep in the woods for these grapes;). There are some things starting to happen just to the east, mostly in the vineyard, but I should have more info soon. Saratoga, and Lake George both have store front non-local type wineries, but depending on how long you will be in the region, there are some bonded wineries north in the Champlain Valley.

Thanks for the info, Todd. I will be there for a week and it sounds like it is not going to be the next AVA. I will look into Champlain Valley, although even that looks like it's going to be quite a trip from Indian Lake... Perhaps at least I can find a wine store with a decent selection of Northern New York wines.
